Focused TMJ Care — Just One Condition, Done Exceptionally Well!

Individual, hands-on physical therapy designed exclusively for TMJ and all related disorders

Focused Expertise in TMJ Care

For over 30 years, I have worked with patients experiencing TMJ disorders and jaw-related dysfunction. Over the past six years, I have transitioned to exclusively treating TMJ, allowing for a deeper level of specialization and clinical focus.

In the past year alone, I performed over 1,900 TMJ treatment sessions—reflecting both the demand for this care and the depth of my experience.

My approach is centered on a detailed understanding of jaw mechanics, muscular tension, and movement patterns that contribute to persistent symptoms. This focused lens allows for precise, individualized treatment tailored to each patient.

All care is delivered one-on-one, with hands-on techniques designed to restore function and reduce pain.

  • Experience ongoing jaw pain, tension, clicking, or restricted movement

  • Clench or grind their teeth and feel chronic facial or jaw tightness

Conditions Commonly Treated

TMJ disorders often involve a combination of joint mechanics, muscular tension, and cervical (neck) involvement. Common conditions treated include:

  • Jaw pain, clicking/popping, fatigue, and locking

  • Jaw malalignment

  • Ear pain, fullness, or ringing

  • Clenching and grinding-related tension

  • Facial and jaw muscle pain/tension and tightness

  • TMJ-related headaches, including tension-type headaches and migraines

  • Neck pain contributing to jaw dysfunction

How Treatment Begins

Step 1

Initial Consultation

An initial evaluation focuses on understanding your symptoms, medical history, and the mechanics of your jaw and cervical spine.

This evaluation allows a targeted treatment plan to be developed based on the specific factors contributing to your TMJ symptoms.

Step 2

Focused Treatment Sessions

Treatment sessions involve hands-on care and guided rehabilitation to address the joint mechanics and muscular contributors to dysfunction.

All sessions are conducted one-on-one.

Step 3

Ongoing Progress

Treatment plans are individualized depending on the nature and duration of symptoms.

Many patients experience meaningful improvement once the underlying mechanical issues are addressed.
